Verona, Italy, September 23, 2025 — The grand inauguration of the India Stonemart 2026 stall took place today at Marmomac 2025, the world’s largest stone exhibition, held in Verona, Italy. The stall was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of Industries & Commerce, Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore. Distinguished guests included Mr. Lavanya Kumar, Consul General, Milan and Mrs. Shivangi Swarnkar, IAS, Managing Director, RIICO.
The Marmomac exhibition opening ceremony was also held today, where the Hon’ble Minister was invited as a Guest of Honour in the presence of international exhibitors and trade representatives. Following the ceremony, the Minister and the Indian delegation visited the exhibition, interacted with exhibitors, explored Indian company stalls, and held discussions with representatives of international stone associations and industry leaders from across the globe.
A high-level delegation from Rajasthan participated in the event, including Mr. Naresh Pareek, Mr. Natwarlal Ajmera, Mr. Arun Jajodia, Mr. Pukhraj Jain, Mr. Rakesh Gupta, and Mr. Mukul Rastogi. Senior office-bearers of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) and representatives from FIGSI (Federation of Indian Granite and Stone Industry) were also present.
This year, nearly 55 Indian companies actively participated in Marmomac, showcasing the growing global presence and competitiveness of India’s stone industry. On this occasion, Hon’ble Minister Col. Rathore met with several international associations and representatives from stone-importing nations, extending them a special invitation to participate as exhibitors and visitors at India Stonemart 2026, scheduled to be held from February 5–8, 2026, in Jaipur.
The participation of the India Stonemart delegation at Marmomac 2025 is expected to strengthen the global image of India and Rajasthan’s stone industry, while creating new opportunities for international collaboration and trade.
