Kota Symposium – In-Depth Deliberation on the Three Strong Pillars of the Stone Industry

On 29th August at Purusharth Bhawan, Kota, Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) successfully organized the Stonemart Symposium – 3, a historic event shaping the roadmap for the future of India’s stone industry.

Three Strong Pillars – The Key to Industry Empowerment
Three major sessions were organized:

1. Global Business Expansion – The largest platform for international trade
2.Global Stone Technology Forum (GSTF) – Driving innovation and new directions
3.Ease of Doing Business (EODB) – Policy solutions for faster industrial growth

Key Highlights of the Symposium:

Hon. Industries Minister, Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore emphasized that “Policy drives solutions, technology ensures progress, and business provides encouragement – together these lay the foundation of a bright future for the stone industry.”

Hon. Education Minister, Shri Madan Dilawar announced that natural stone will be prioritized in state school buildings and urged entrepreneurs to uphold their social responsibility.

National Secretary, Shri Naresh Parikhighlighted the journey of India Stonemart and its global significance. Today, it is not just an exhibition but a symbol of India’s global identity in the stone industry, with active participation from 961 LUB branches and 60,000+ entrepreneurs.

Convenor, Shri Natwarlal Ajmera shared that India Stonemart 2026 will be the grandest ever, with participation from over 32 countries and thousands of visitors. He especially appreciated the dedicated efforts of Shri Mukul Rastogi (CEO, CDOS) and Shri Vivek Jain (Sr. DGM, CDOS).

Organization Minister, Shri Prakash Chandra said: “Adopt Swadeshi, strengthen the economy. Our districts are becoming growth drivers of GDP, and now is the time to strengthen India’s identity at the global stage.”

Special speakers like Shri Govind Ram Mittal and Shri P.N. Sharma (Joint Commissioner, Industries) addressed challenges of the stone sector including lease rights, area transfer, and effective implementation of RIPS, while providing practical solutions.

NABCONS presentation on MSME, RIPS, REPC, and ODOP introduced entrepreneurs to new opportunities.

Conclusion: The symposium ended with the message that the bright future of the stone industry lies in three mantras – policy stability, technological innovation, and global business expansion.
