Chief Secretary V. Srinivas Reviews Preparations for India Stonemart 2026 in Jaipur

SHOWCASING INDIAN GRANITE EXCELLENCE

A high-level review meeting regarding the preparations for India Stonemart 2026, one of the Rajasthan government’s flagship international events, was held at the Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas.

Senior officials from all concerned departments and organizing institutions associated with the event were present at the meeting. The review focused in detail on the progress of preparations, departmental responsibilities, and necessary arrangements.

India Stonemart 2026 is proposed to be held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC), Sitapura. The event will provide an international platform for the state’s stone, mining, machinery, equipment, handicrafts, and allied industries, giving a significant boost to Rajasthan’s industrial growth, exports, and investment ecosystem.

During the review, the Chief Secretary discussed key aspects such as security and sanitation arrangements, traffic management, police protocol, accommodation facilities, mobile and Wi-Fi connectivity, power supply, medical services, establishment of a Shilpgram, tourism promotion, cultural program planning, participation of mining industries, and extensive publicity for the event.

Chief Secretary V. Srinivas directed all concerned departments to complete the preparations in a coordinated, timely, and well-organized manner. He emphasized regular monitoring of assigned responsibilities and effective inter-departmental coordination to ensure smooth execution of the event.

Senior officials from the Departments of Industries and Commerce, Tourism, Medical and Health, Urban Development and Housing, Information Technology and Communication, General Administration, and Police Administration were present. Representatives from RIICO, RUD A, Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, and other related organizations also attended the meeting.

From the organizing institutions, teams from the Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) and Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) participated in the meeting.
Representing CDOS, Deepak Ajmera (Vice President), Mukul Rastogi (Chief Executive Officer), and Vivek Jain (Additional General Manager) were present.
From Laghu Udyog Bharati, Naresh Pareek (National Co-General Secretary), Anju Singh (National Secretary), and Navratnalal Ajmera (State Vice President and Stonemart Convener) attended the meeting.

At the conclusion of the meeting, confidence was expressed that through the collective efforts of all departments and organizing institutions, India Stonemart 2026 will be established as a successful, impactful, and prestigious event at both national and international levels.
